How much tutor support will I receive?
You’ll receive tutor support in various different forms via your online forum, through assessment feedback and through webinars. Webinars include an induction session, a pre-recorded exam prep session and a monthly Q&A webinar. Individual feedback is provided for the MOL mock assessments while the forum also offers peer-to-peer support as your cohort works together to understand and achieve your objectives.
How will the tutor support be provided?

If I sign up to an introductory offer is there a time limit to the offer?
The current introductory offer expires on the 31st July 2017
If I sign up to the introductory offer will it apply if I buy one unit, or do I have to pay for studying the entire Diploma?
You get the introductory offer of a 10% discount on every unit you buy. You do not have to buy the entire Diploma.
When I pay for my Diploma will I have to pay for it in full at the start or can I buy each unit separately? Is there a way to spread the cost for example by monthly/quarterly instalments?
You can pay for each unit separately. This means you can spread the cost of your Diploma over 3-5 payments. We also have a 12-month payment plan available if you purchase the full Diploma in one go. Please call our Sales and Enquiry Team on 0345 2032103 if you’d like to discuss this option.
What happens if my employer wants to pay for my Diploma?
Your employer can pay for all of your units up front or one-by-one. Please call our Sales and Enquiry Team on 0345 2032103 if you’d like to discuss this option. Please note that the payment plan option is available only to personal payers
If I change my mind, what happens to any fees that I, or my employers, have paid?
You have a 14-day cooling off period from the point at which you receive your course content. You can cancel, within that time, and receive a full refund. No refunds will be offered after that period.
What materials will I receive when I enrol on the SQA Diploma course with MOL?
Once your enrolment has been processed you’ll receive a printed copy of the course workbook and an email giving you access (with a unique user name and password) to the MOL Virtual Learning Environment. Once you have logged onto the VLE you’ll be given full guidance on your study.
Do I need any qualifications or experience to start studying Level 4?
There are no entry requirements for studying at Level 4. It’s not necessary for new students to have any prior experience, knowledge, skills or understanding of conveyancing procedure and practice. Level 2 English and Mathematics qualifications may be helpful. You are not required to be employed in a legal services job to study any of our diplomas.
Do I need any qualifications or experience to start studying Level 6?
You must have completed Level 4 to move on to Level 6.
I’ve completed previous study which I feel is relevant. What do I do?
You may be entitled to exemptions for previous study. Please check the CLC website via the link below to access the most up to date information on exemptions. http://www.conveyancer.org.uk/trainee-lawyer/How-to-Qualify.aspx
You’ll need to provide us with proof of your exemptions, which we’ll then process with SQA. You must provide a record of prior learning or a qualification transcript, as evidence, before we can allow any exemptions.
How long do I have to complete each unit?
Different units will take varying times to complete, depending on your experience, competence and time commitments. We allow up to 12 months to complete each unit you buy. If you buy two or more units at the same time, you’ll have 12 months to complete all of the units you purchased simultaneously
How long do I have to complete the entire Diploma (either at level 4 or at Level 6)?
There is no upper time limit on completing the whole Diploma but purchase of each single unit gives you up to 12 months within which to complete that unit. If you buy two or more units at the same time, you’ll have 12 months to complete all of the units you purchased simultaneously.

If workshop dates are not available when you make your application to MOL we’ll send them to you as soon as we’re able to confirm the dates. All workshop dates are subject to change and we’ll send you a final confirmation of dates with your programme/module confirmation letter. This will usually be no later than two weeks before your start date.
We’ll confirm your final workshop dates once we’ve received a sufficient number of applications to make the learning experience valuable to you. You should receive your confirmation letter no later than two weeks before your programme/module start date.
As soon as we’ve confirmed your programme/module, we’ll contact you to take payment. Your study materials will then be sent to your preferred materials address indicated on your application form. If you’ve recently changed address, or changed your contact details, please tell us as soon as possible so we can make sure your materials are sent to the correct address.
Once we’ve confirmed your programme/module we’ll contact you to take payment. As soon as your payment has been processed you’ll be enrolled on to the MOL Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and also have access to The Manchester College Library. You’ll receive an email from noreply@MOLlearn.com, notifying you of your login and password details.
