Study brought to life

Human resources (HR) professional, Ramaa Ramesh, says you can never learn too much in the world of learning and development.

Ramaa already had a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a master’s degree in human resources when she came to study with MOL. However, neither of these prestigious qualifications gave Ramaa the specific knowledge of training delivery she wanted before taking the next step in her career.

‘One of my colleagues had completed her CIPD Certificate in L&D Practice with MOL under the same tutor and highly recommended it. The course content was excellent and the supporting resources were of a good quality.

‘In my role, I am now expected to contribute to the L&D strategy and needs analysis, along with the design and delivery of training. I can confidently say the MOL course has done much to equip me with the knowledge and skills to tackle each of these areas. Plus, it has helped me build a network of professional contacts.

‘Over the course of the coming year I hope to continue learning and achieve further certifications and accreditations. In the learning and development profession you can never learn too much.’

My tutor was a highlight of the course. She was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I liked the fact that she was not from a purely academic background but was currently a practitioner herself. This means she brought real life experiences to the class which we could all benefit from.
