In October 2017 MOL start delivering new management qualifications to support future managers and leaders as they move their career forward.
The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 3 in First Line Management and Level 5 in Management and Leadership qualifications have been designed to help employees who find themselves in a managerial position, develop the skills and knowledge to succeed in their new role.
Holding a professional qualification can boost your earnings by an estimated £81,000 during your working lifetime, while joining a membership body, such as CMI, can add an additional £71,000. So, with the job market becoming ever more competitive, it pays to get qualified.
Mike Spick, Product Manager, MOL said: “Just one in five UK managers currently hold a management qualification meaning some extra learning could really help you stand out from the crowd when it comes to securing the next step on the career ladder.
“And the benefits don’t simply apply to the individual. For businesses looking to grow, training managers and leaders is not a nice to have but a necessity and the new qualifications we have launched have been specifically designed to help businesses become more efficient and effective.”
One of the benefits of the new MOL qualifications is the opportunity for learners to become a Chartered Manager, the ultimate recognition of the professional manager. And with research by CMI showing that Chartered Managers on average deliver £391,000 of value to their organisations, the benefit to employers as well as the individual cannot be underestimated.
CMI is working to increase the number and standard of professionally qualified managers across the UK and the qualifications are available to all businesses and individuals, as management is relevant to every industry sector. More than 28,000 people registered to do a CMI qualification last year.
