Discover the World of Learning with MOL
Mon 29 Sep 2014
One of the biggest events in the Learning and Development calendar is happening at the end of this month and MOL will be there.
The World of Learning Conference and Exhibition 2014 will take place at the NEC in Birmingham on Tuesday 30 September and Wednesday 1 October. MOL will be running a CIPD workshop at the event delivered by MOL tutor Rachel Burnham, who will be discussing the ways technology is changing the way Learning and Development programmes are taught under the title "Is business ready for distance learning". Rachel will share three case studies of different distance learning programmes from her own experience. Through these case studies, Rachel will explore what worked well and some of the more challenging issues, to enable you to identify your organisation’s own readiness to use distance learning.
Richard Philips, Divisional Lead Manager CIPD Programmes for MOL, believes companies are now looking for more interaction from their employee's qualification. He said: "The World of Learning provides us with a great opportunity to get to know Learning and Development professionals better.
"Both we and our partners BILD believe that technology is a key aspect to any programme we run and we aim to be at the forefront of Learning and Development technology. We utilise virtual learning environments and tablets to provide a truly 21st century experience."
