What is CMI Level 3?

If you’re an aspiring or newly appointed manager, a CMI Level 3 qualification gives you the management and leadership skills you need in your day-to-day role.  

What is CMI Level 3 equivalent to?

CMI Level 3 qualifications are available as an Award, Certificate or Diploma and are at a level equivalent to AS / A Levels or Level 3 BTECs. 

What CMI Level 3 qualifications are available?

At MOL Learn, we offer three options for CMI Level 3 qualifications:

• CMI Level 3 Award in Principles of Management and Leadership – this course (one unit of your choice) will give you a basic introduction to your new management role.
   
• CMI Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Management and Leadership – this course (three units of your choice) will help you to better understand your selected key areas within management and leadership.
   
• CMI Level 3 Diploma in Principles of Management and Leadership – choosing to study all eight units and achieving your Diploma will build your confidence by giving you a deeper understanding of management and leadership in the workplace. 

Who should do a CMI Level 3 qualification?

CMI Level 3 qualifications in management and leadership are just right for you if you don’t have much management experience, want to learn more about your role and are looking for basic management skills. Our CMI Level 3 Diploma covers all areas while our Award and Certificate let you focus on specific topics where you may feel less confident. 

How much do CMI Level 3 qualifications cost?

CMI Level 3 prices start from £395 and include full access to all the great resources on our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), directed learning activities, assessment briefings and tutor support as well as live webinars.  Our on-demand recorded webinars help you study at a time to suit you.

How long do CMI Level 3 qualifications take?

All our CMI Level 3 qualifications use our Live Online study option which means you get to study at your own pace. 
You’ll have five weeks to complete the single unit CMI Level 3 Award in Management and Leadership, four months for the 3 unit CMI Level 3 Certificate and 12 months for the CMI Level 3 Diploma.  

Can I do CMI Level 3 and work full-time?

Yes, you can! At MOL Learn, we understand our learners have busy work and home lives. Our Live Online CMI Level 3 qualifications fit around your other commitments.

You can join live webinars and work in groups to solve challenges and tasks while still having flexible access to on-demand recordings. This means if you miss a live webinar or need to revisit a topic the recording is always there for you to access at a more convenient time for you. 

CMI Level 3 example assignments

You’ll have one assessment per unit for your CMI Level 3 qualification. Topics range from the principles of management and leadership to the importance of managing budgets and resources, but don’t worry, your MOL tutor will be available to support you the whole time.
