MOL Celebrate Aramco Graduation in Saudi Arabia

Earlier this month, we travelled to Dhahran in Saudi Arabia to attend Saudi Aramco’s first-ever graduation event.

Aramco is the national oil company of Saudi Arabia and is one of the world's largest integrated energy and chemicals companies, with over 73,000 employees worldwide. We first partnered with CIPD and Saudi Aramco in 2019 to deliver professional development courses to their staff. Since then, 600 Saudi Aramco employees have studied with us, with another 210 on the way in our January 2025 cohort.

Held in the impressive King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, the event was organised to celebrate the achievements of Aramco’s CIPD learners. More than 700 graduates, tutors, colleagues and family were there.

The keynote speech was given by CIPD’s Chief Executive, Peter Cheese. Representing MOL was Product Director, Paul Rogers.

“I think events like these prove that a CIPD qualification is the gold standard across the whole world,” stated Paul. “It’s been touching to see just how much it means to everyone who has achieved their qualification with us.”

“It was just a pleasure to be invited to celebrate with them at such a wonderful event, and in such a wonderful venue!” agreed MOL’s Key Account Manager, Beckie Holmes. “It was great to finally meet with our clients from Aramco in person.”

Among those graduating was HR Specialist Saffana Felemban, who graduated with her CIPD Associate Diploma (Level 5) in People Management.

“My experience with MOL has been highly positive. I greatly appreciated the ongoing support from both the tutors and my colleagues, as well as the collaborative environment that facilitated the sharing of ideas.

“I would like to express my gratitude to my family, friends, and all those who have supported me throughout this remarkable journey. Their unwavering support has been instrumental in my success.”

Also graduating with a Level 5 Associate Diploma was Abdulelah Alshehri, a Senior HR Assistant.

“The course was very focused. It helped me to deepen my career,” Abdulelah noted.

“I feel very happy to graduate. It's a great opportunity and thank you all for helping me to develop myself.”
