MOL Secures Bronze at Learning Technologies Awards!

Last night we took home the bronze award at this year’s prestigious Learning Technologies Awards.

On a glittering November night in London, we bagged our trophy in the category of Best Online Distance Learning Programme for our On Demand and Live Online CIPD courses. Up against giants such as Holland and Barrett and the University of East Anglia, we were awarded bronze after a lengthy entry process that involved an in-depth entry form, submission of an AI-generated video, and a presentation to the panel of judges.

“We’re so proud to have won this celebrated award,” said Asiyeh Taassob, Head of Digital Learning. “The Learning Technologies Awards are widely respected in our industry, so to have left here with a much-coveted trophy is something really special.”

The entry was for the course content on our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). The VLE is designed to be extremely accessible and easy to navigate, despite containing a huge wealth of information. The content includes videos of lectures, text books and other background reading, interactive exercises based on real-world case studies, and mock assignments, along with online forum support from tutors and peers.

Developed in consultation with learners, awarding bodies, tutors and industry experts, the VLE has won plaudits from users and independent assessors alike:

The programme has proven particularly effective for learners, with our learners achieving a 99.5% pass rate.
