We’ve been shortlisted for the Learning Technology Awards!

MOL has been shortlisted as ‘Best Online Distance-Learning Programme’ for the extremely prestigious Learning Technologies Awards.

The Learning Technologies Awards are a global event that celebrates organisational learning and the technology used to support learning at work. Also shortlisted in our category are Holland and Barrett, The University of East Anglia, Learnlight, Talaera and CTO Academy.

Our entry focuses on two elements. The first is our rich course content which has been developed and honed to be as engaging, personalised and interactive as any classroom-based qualification. Great care has been taken to employ a rich mix of text, images, animation, audio, video, and interactive elements to enhance the learning experience.

The second element is our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) that allows our learners to access all of the course content from anywhere in the world, at a time to suit them. The VLE contains a wealth of information and resources, but is still easy to navigate thanks to its clever layout. It is also personalised to meet learner goals and needs, varied in its use of different media, interactive and engaging, and offers support for learners, despite being ‘at distance’.
