MOL Update - 26 March 2020

We’re open and our MOL teams are working remotely to continue supporting you with your studies.  We still plan to deliver a great learner experience and are here to offer you all the help and support you need during this period of uncertainty.

In response to Government advice, we discontinued our face to face workshop sessions and converted all our learning content to Live Online for MOL courses. We’re running regular interactive webinars plus on demand access to webinar recordings, online activities, articles, journals, podcasts case studies and video clips.

Learners who were studying via workshop delivery have been contacted and invited to specific webinar sessions, covering classroom content, to make sure any disruption is kept to a minimum. This way, when we get the okay to start face to face delivery again, we can continue as planned.

Important information for CPL (Conveyancing & Probate) learners - updated 23 March 2020

You’ll be aware that we all need to be mindful of public health with regards to Covid-19 and MOL is following all Government guidelines. Unfortunately, this means that we’ll not be able to offer you SQA Conveyancing and Probate exams as usual in May.

We’re exploring all options and are in discussions with SQA (the Awarding Body) for guidance on exam paper security and invigilation. Please rest assured we’re working closely with SQA to see how we can best deliver the exams and we’ll update you as soon as we have established plans.  

In the meantime, please continue with your studies as usual.

We’ll be in touch with any further developments as soon as we’re able.

Important information for MOL CIPD learners - updated 17 March 2020

In response to the Prime Minister’s advice, on Monday evening (16 March 2020), we’ve been notified of the closures of our delivery venues for face to face learning. These closures will be for an indefinite period and we’ve activated our contingency plan of converting all our delivery to Live Online for all our MOL courses.

We’ll remain open and our team are here to support you in your studies. We’ve been mapping and planning extra support to enable this. We still want you to have a great learner experience so if you’re studying Live Online at the moment please be assured we’re not going to drop hundreds of learners into your group.  We’ll set up and deliver multiple groups so we’re able to offer you the support you need.

Due to the current Covid-19 advice, we’ve been planning to move our face to face workshops online and the necessary steps and technology are almost in place. If you’re studying via workshop delivery we’ll be in touch with you via the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) to invite you to specific webinar sessions, covering classroom content, to make sure any disruption for you is kept to a minimum. This way, when we get the okay to start face to face delivery again, we can continue as planned.

The MOL Live Online course mirrors the workshop content we normally provide - we’ll do everything we can to make sure the experience meets our usual high standard. You’ll be able to interact with a tutor online, ask questions in your virtual classroom and share the learning experience with your peers, just as you would in a workshop. We’re contingency planning for the next three months' delivery to be delivered Live Online, if necessary, with the aim of resuming workshops as soon as possible.

Important information for Property Law, Property Agency and APM learners

With regards to the above notice of delivery venue closures for face to face learning, our Conveyancing & Probate, Property Agency and APM (Project Management) programmes are unaffected by these workshop cancellations and your learning will not be interrupted.

We remain open and our MOL teams are here to support you in your studies. We’ve been mapping and planning extra support to enable this. We still want you to have a great learner experience so please continue to attend webinars and use your study materials along with the great range of study resources on our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
