The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) have named MOL as one of their strategic partners.
The new strategic partnership allows MOL to further develop its work with both current and future managers and leaders, and their organisations; supporting them to gain the skills they need to improve their performance and create an impact in their workplace, across their business and in the wider industry sector.
Paul Rogers, Product Director, MOL said: “We are incredibly proud to be one of the few organisation’s to become a CMI strategic partner. We have worked closely with CMI over the last three years to deliver their qualifications to individuals looking to develop their potential as managers and leaders for the future. This is the next step for us as an organisation to support the growth in numbers and standards of professionally qualified managers in businesses across the UK.”
CMI is the only chartered professional body dedicated to raising the standards of leadership and management. Steve Heappey, Director of Employer and Provider Partnerships at CMI, said: “In a tough economic climate there is no doubt that developing world-class management and leadership is essential to a company's growth, and I urge employers to make sure that they support their managers to become Chartered. As the professional body for management and leadership, we’re delighted to be working with MOL to give managers the opportunity to gain the essential skills that will benefit their employers, as well as their own career development.”
Improving the quality and integrity of managers and leaders has a positive impact on organisational performance and reputation. Research by CMI shows that Chartered Managers add up to £392,000 in value to their employers, and management and leadership development leads to 23% increases in organisational performance and a 32% increase in employee engagement.
