At The Manchester College, developing internal talent is more than a goal—it’s part of the culture. That’s why Janice Leach, Administration Service Manager, supported team member Daniel Grant to complete a Level 3 CMI Management qualification with MOL.
“We enrolled Daniel on the CMI course because we need to upskill our own staff…and prepare him for any future opportunities,” says Janice. “He has a desire to progress to a more senior role, and we love to see a member of our team grow through their own hard work and dedication.”

From Janice’s perspective, that learning has already translated into positive change. “Daniel now has more confidence and knowledge when applying for new posts. He’s better at prioritising workload - not just for himself but for the wider team.”
Daniel also credits the course with helping him to think more critically. “It opened my eyes to analysing the positives and negatives within my working environment, which has allowed me to make small but useful improvements.”
