What is CIPD Level 3?  

CIPD Level 3 is a foundation qualification that provides a solid and practical foundation in HR and Learning & Development (L&D) skills including recruitment, performance management and coaching and mentoring.  

CIPD Level 3 is best for you if you’re early on in your HR career or you are already in the industry but haven't studied a qualification before and need the HR training to help you stand out in the job market.  

What is CIPD Level 3 equivalent to?  

Also known as a foundation course, the CIPD Level 3 study level is equivalent to an A Level qualification standard.   

What CIPD Level 3 qualifications are available?  

There is only one CIPD Level 3 qualification available and it’s a good introduction if you’re working in HR or L&D.   

CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice (Level 3) – This course focuses on the foundations of business, culture, behaviour and the essentials of people practice.    

Who should have a CIPD Level 3 qualification?  

A CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate is perfect if you are looking to enter a career in HR as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant or HR Advisor, or if you want to substantiate your experience with a qualification.  

The CIPD Level 3 qualification is also a good introduction to studying HR if you are considering pursuing a CIPD Level 5 qualification in HR or L&D in the future.   

How much does CIPD Level 3 cost?

How long does CIPD Level 3 take?

Can I do CIPD Level 3 and work full-time?
