MEET MICHELLE

Product Manager responsible for Property Qualifications, including conveyancing and estate agency.

Michelle is a highly experienced professional, holding a CLC Conveyancing Licence and with over 10 year’s experience in teaching Diplomas in Conveyancing Law and Practice (Levels 4 and 6).

Her career started as a Legal Assistant, quickly progressing to an Associate Property Lawyer, dealing with caseloads and stakeholders.  Her qualification as a Licensed Conveyancer boosted her career and enabled her to become the Chair of the ‘Conveyancing Trailblazer Consortium’ which designed the two conveyancing apprenticeships.

Spending time as an external verifier and senior independent verifier with the Scottish Qualifications Authority, Michelle has a solid grounding in assessment standards and procedures which she can bring to her learners as she continues in this role. 

She spent three years as a Legal Director with a firm of conveyancing lawyers, gaining experience in managing a team of conveyancers, signing off contracts for completion, and tutoring staff in their Diploma in Conveyancing Law and Practice. 

Michelle’s career history in conveyancing, learning and development, and project management ensures she brings real-world experience and can apply the theory into practice. This added value sets her apart and ensures she can understand, empathise and support her learners with their learning journey.
